Annual Field Day and Exhibition at Bathalegoda

The Annual Field Day and Exhibition, held at the Rice Research Institute, Bathalegoda, from 17–18 July 2025, brought together farmers, researchers, and industry stakeholders to explore new advancements in rice research, cultivation practices, and innovations shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s paddy sector.

The Agri Equipment Division displayed their tractors, combine harvesters, and mechanised solutions designed to improve efficiency and reduce labour dependency in paddy farming. Hayleys Agro Fertilizers highlighted nutrient management programs and balanced fertilizer solutions tailored for higher yields and soil health. The Crop Protection and Plant Materials Division featured advanced crop protection products alongside high-quality seed paddy varieties, helping farmers safeguard their crops and access improved planting material for greater productivity.

Through this collective effort, Hayleys Agriculture continues to empower farmers, supporting sustainable practices, and driving the continued growth of Sri Lanka’s paddy industry.
