Jayanthi joined the Hayleys Group as a Management Accountant in 1991 and has been in agriculture related businesses throughout her journey with the Group. She has held senior managerial positions in the Agriculture Sector including two years as Deputy Managing Director prior to her appointment as Managing Director of the Agriculture Sector. With her appointment as Managing Director of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited and all its subsidiary companies on 1st April 2018, she was also appointed as a Board Director, Hayleys PLC and to the Hayleys Group Management Committee with responsibility for the Agriculture Sector. Jayanthi is the first female to be appointed as Executive Director to the Hayleys PLC Board in the 140 year history of the Group. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.
Appointed to the Board as non executive director in 2009. Has had an outstanding career in public service including positions of Secretary to the treasury, Secretary, Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Mahaweli Development, Public Administration and Plantation Industries. Has served as Government Agent, Batticaloa. Has also been a consultant to UN organizations.
Rejoined Hayleys in March 2007. Appointed to the Group Management Committee in July 2007. Appointed to the Board in September 2009. Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Member, Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia . Holds a MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Worked for Hayleys and Diesel & Motor Engineering Co. between 1987 and 2002, and as an Executive Director of the latter. Subsequently held several senior management positions in large private sector entities in Sri Lanka and overseas. Has responsibility for Strategic Business Development, Construction Materials and Consumer sectors.

Holds a Diploma in agriculture from the Sri Lanka School of Agriculture – Angunukolapalassa, Diploma in Marketing (NIBM) and Diploma in Finance Management (Aquinas University College). Currently holds the post of President of Crop Life Sri Lanka. Holds a MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University of Wales.
Joined Hayleys in 2003 as the founder General Manager of Hayleys Agro Fertilizers (Pvt) Ltd. Appointed Director/Chief Executive of the same Company in 2008. Appointed to the Board of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings in 2015. Holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from the University of Peradeniya as well as a Masters in Food Science and Technology from Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture Peradeniya. Moreover he is a Trained Auditor for GMP, ISO & HACCP Systems and also fluent in ISO, HACCP, TPM, Quality Circles, CI Projects, 5 S, Kaizen, GMP and Lean Manufacturing concepts. He currently serves as the Head of Food Exports Sector and provided leadership to enable the company to be the largest processed fruits and vegetable exporter in the country .
Lushan holds a Business Management (Special) Degree in Accountancy (B.B. Mgt (SP) Acc) from University of Kelaniya and a MBA from the University of Colombo. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Sri Lanka (FCA) and is also a member of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) Sri Lanka. Prior to joining Hayleys Agriculture he worked at KPMG for four years. After joining Hayleys Agriculture Holdings in 2003 as an Assistant Manager Finance, Lushan displayed a lot of potential which enabled him to reach to the top ranks speedily. Today he holds the positions of Director/Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Solutions for the entire Hayleys Agriculture Sector.
Sujeewa counts for over 30 years of experience in audit and consultancy services. He is an expert in providing Business Advisory Services covering a wide range of industries such as finance and banking, general trading, apparel, real estate, leisure, management and plantations etc. In addition to being a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL), a board member of the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standard Monitoring Board as well as a Council Member of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Through various technical advisory capacities and Board Memberships in the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and South Asia Federation of Accountants (SAFA) he has gained extensive exposure and technical insight
Rajap joined Hayleys in 1983 and heads the Agri Equipment Division of Hayleys Agriculture. He is a Graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and holds an MBA from the University of Colombo.
