Dr. Mallawa Arachchi unanimously elected as Founder-Treasurer of the newly formed SAARC Regional Veterinary Association (SRVA).

The President of the Sri Lanka Veterinary Association (SLVA), Dr. Susantha Mallawa arachchi, who is also a Director of Hayleys Agro Farms (Pvt) Ltd and General Manager of Hayleys Animal Health, was invited by the Nepal Veterinary Association (NVA) to attend the National Veterinary Conference held from the 17th to the 18th of June 2022, in Pokhara, Nepal. Representing the SLVA, Dr. Mallawa arachchi, addressed the event on the “Importance of Resurgence, Education, and Collaboration to go beyond Conventional Boundaries”.  For the first time in the history of the SAARC Region, a SAARC Regional Veterinary Association (SRVA) was formed during the conference to bring all Regional Veterinary Associations to work together towards a common goal of regional importance. Dr. Mallawa arachchi was unanimously elected as Founder-Treasurer of the newly formed SAARC Regional Veterinary Association (SRVA).
